Make sure the following componets are installed and set up propably on your platform
- Internet Information Services (IIS)
- .NET Framework 3.5
Advanced user might follow the manual installation and setup process using the provided
zip archive. Beginners might use the installer file which allows easily installing
and de-installing the WebComposition DataGridService. Installing the WebComposition
DataGridService using the installer files. After deploying the files the WebCompsition
DataGridService must be set up depending on the corresponding platform.
Start the installation by executing the 'setup.exe' for the WebComposotion DataGridService
and follow the instruction on the screen. After the setup launched, select 'Next'
to start with the installation of the WebComposition DataGridService.
On the next screen read the license agreement. Choose 'I Agree' if you agree with
license agreement, select 'I Do Not Agree' otherwise and click 'Next'.
Choose the folder where to install the WebComposition DataGridService. By default
this is a subfolder in 'C:\inetpub\wwwroot'. Click 'Next' to coninue after the folder
is chosen.
Click 'Next' to finalize the installation. Depending on your computer's performance
this may take a few minutes.
The installtion of the WebComposition DataGridService has successfully finished.
Click 'Close' to exit the instalaltion programm.
Remove or Upgrade
To un-install or before upgrading the WebComposition DataGridService follow the
steps corresponding to your platform: On Windows Vista go to 'Control Panel' and
select 'Uninstall a Program' which bring you to the 'Programs and Features dialog'.
On Windowx XP got to 'Control Panel' and select 'Add or Remove Programs'. Select
the entry 'WebComposition DataGridService' from the corresponding list and click
'Uninstall' on a Windows Vista system or the 'Remove' button on the corresponding
list entry on a Windows XP system.
